My friends call me Jen Jones. I was born in Florida, grew up in the ‘big city’ of Orlando, fell in love with film photography in high school and in 2004, moved to St Augustine to attending art school at Flagler College. I lived a block from the beach for 6 years—where friends stored their surfboards and usually ended up at dinner time.
As a 23 yo. self employed media artist, I moved to Encinitas, California. . . Ran with established entrepreneurs, professional athletes and cut my teeth on adventurous passion projects and taking on any photo assignment to stay self employed. After chasing snowboarders around the Andes mountains in Argentina (on one of these said work trips), I moved to Hood River to experience a season of ‘real’ Winter for the first time in my life. I fell in love with the Hood’s small town charm, incredible agriculture community and met the love of my life the following Spring.
After 11 years of togetherness, my partner and I are getting married in November 2023. Together we’ve built a life that’s flexible and full of adventure, centered around our families, our passions, the ocean, our health, friendships and of course the doggos. We live in Hood River in the Summertime and travel based out of Baja, California from late Fall to early Spring.
