Libby + John // The Orchard • Hood River, OR

This darling couple planned to get married in 2020, and we all know the ending to that story. . . A reschedule at the Orchard for this July, with their favorite of faves suited Libby and John just right.

Including the two of them, their wedding party was 20 beautiful people deep! Their pups proceeded the lovely bride down the aisle, while her brother charismatically stepped into the roll of her “Flower Man”. . . there was nothing but smiles and tears of laughter rolling down everyones faces, for the bride’s grand entrance.

Despite the insanely warm temperatures in the PNW last week, we made some last minute tweaks to their photography timeline (to accommodate for potential heat stroke), and built them a buttery photography timeline alongside Heather Love Notes. . . Since a great time for family photos is right after the ceremony, we took adventage of the only shade at the time, and set-up for portraits on the east side of The Orchard’s pavilion. With a row a lavender behind us, and gorgeous flower hoops hanging on the wall by BloombusryPNW, everyone was happy to have some reprieve from the sun, (and I was happy that everyone was comfortable)!

Libby has three brothers, and John has three sisters! The siblings were of course in the wedding party and the dynamic between them all was so fun to witness.

With no first look, plus backup traffic coming from White Salmon to Hood River that day—we waited until sunset to capture portraits with everyone, and the last bit of sunlight falling on Mt. Adams couldn’t have been any dreamier.
